As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, “It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him, for he had taken it off, and jumped into the water. While today’s culture offers more connection than ever through smartphones, social media, high-speed internet, and unlimited content on-demand, men, even Christian men, may find they have become more isolated and lonelier than ever.  The need for FELLOWSHIP with other men, goofing off, having fun, roughhousing, eating together, and gathering around a campfire, is one of the most important aspects of F.I.R.E. Retreats.  As an old Scout leader always used to say, “If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong!”
